You can have 9 on the Bench, bring 5 on, which i new, but you can only use 3 opportunity's to bring the 5 on. i didn't know that.

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

Yes I knew this. If you see that 3 subs is x amount of time so 5 subs in 3 changes is the same. If it were 5 subs x 5 then time wasting would nearly double.
I reckon the refs are going to be strict on leaving the pitch from where you are as was bought in two years ago. A few cards would make this actually happen and stop even more time wasting.
I don’t think the 3 changes in total was in pep and klopps mind when they fought for the 5 sub rule. Bad luck guys

General time wasting would be one consideration another would be to have the possibility to use one an extra substitution to break up the oppositions momentum - much harder if you only have 3 points to interrupt the game.
