A lot of Chelsea fans unhappy with this rumour and saying he's been their best player this season. I said when he left he'd break into the Chelsea first team and he's shown he's up to it. If he does leave Chelsea there will be several big clubs ready with their wallets. I think he'd fit in really well at Spuds and possibly Liverpool too. Not coming here though.

The time to do this was when his loan finished and he returned to Chelsea. As Darren Ambrose then urged the owners to <<break the bank>> and buy him.Now its too late I'm afraid.

This is a daft rumour as Palace are skint and our shareholders have sewn their pockets up

I would rather Gallagher come back to us than Philips . We could have done with him today .

Of all the trains that have left the station I think that one is further away than most, CHC are either going to build a team around him or sell him for around 50 / 60 million -with the best will in the world I dont think we are shopping there at those prices. Originally posted by Croydon-Trucker

42 mill last time i heard Phillips 40 mill at 28 year old , a cheaky 35 mill bid plus add ons would prob do it . , yea know what you mean though the ship has sailed and he doesn't seeem to be the player he was . He doesn't look as happy as he did with us though or as good . Still could do with a bit of his energy in midfeild .
