Hughes cant pass. That reduces his utility to midfield enforcer at which he is good. I think that is why his role was limited to sub.

I hope either of the new recruits can do what Hughes does AND pass.

Although he tried to prove he cant, IMO he can pass.

I think Pat has preferred Jeff because Hughes is dead slow, and is never going to break lines.

As others have said, by the looks of things, the new guys look the best of both. Big, fast, physical, can break the game up and also transition to attack.

Of this there was never really any doubt. I almost lost a couple of lads from my Sunday team to Forest but they felt we had more chance of winning the Redhill and District Sunday cup.

Makes you wonder how much Forest are paying these so called footballers to put their careers on hold while they sit on their backsides. Three full squads for training purposes must be interesting. But what self respecting professional is content with being just a sparing partner ? And for those not in the 25 that’s all they are.
