Personally I’d prefer a double page spread of Liz Hurley, but I suppose Deano wasn’t a bad looking chap I've got a Coventry City programme from the 70s. It was produced in newspaper format and the whole back page consisted of a photo of 'female fan of the week' (not the correct title). This particular one had a lovely wearing bikini pants and not a lot else, although her 'top half' was strategically hidden in some way. In fact I may get it down over the weekend and thoroughly study it to remind myself how inappropriate it is.

Those were the days I think you need to post the photo on here so I can decide whether it’s inappropriate or not…….and whether I really care

In the meantime if you search for 'Coventry City girl of the match', you will find a small selection of examples, although not the particular darling I described. All very innocent, I must stress; nothing dodgy; no concerns should Mrs Monkey catch you at it.

Still have loads of old Palace programmes from the seventies and early eighties when my grandad use to take the young Stirling to matches. Took ownership of them once he died back in those early eighties. Several times I've been told to clear them out over the years but they will stay in the family for sentimental reasons.

Quite right, no doubt it was mrs Stirling who has told you to have a clear out? My mrs gave up with that one years ago because I used to retaliate with, if she got rid of some of her vast amount of clothes and shoes we’d have a lot more space Edited by monkey (02 Jun 2022 5.13pm)

I still buy the programmes when I go but barely read them. They don't seem to have the appeal they used to. We were always one of the worst for programmes, I remember some rather lean times. I'd say we've slightly improved.

I'd say we've slightly improved. Nothing could compare for low quality with the Spurs programme at the start of the sixties - one sheet of folded paper. I still have a couple. Cost 2 old pennies (pre-decimalisation) - equivalent to just under 1 new penny.

Same here, it’s all old news or nothing I’m interested in these days, all I want it for is something to show for that game I’ve been too, but then I suppose that’s all I’ve ever wanted it for. As long as it’s got Crystal Palace v Whoever on it and the date, that’s all I’m interested in
