..in all this, is Kouyate in trouble or not?

I hope not just because you don't support the alphabet soup activists that doesn't mean you are homophobic.

I know plenty of people who do not agree with the gay lifestyle but accept it as a reality they just don't want to celebrate or promote it. I also know gay people who feel the same they are uncomfortable not with being gay but with the endless activism however they are scared to speak out as they will be ruined on social media.

Personally it doesn't bother me each to his own and all that just don't expect me to make it the central point of my life.

It's perfectly fine to disagree with someone... and it's fine to support the moral values of your country, faith etc. As we tend to do here in the uk.

If he acts illegally, within our laws of the land, then naturally that's the price he has to pay and he will be judged by society... too.

So he knows the risks and cannot be surprised if he gets back lash from a far more tolerant society.

Instead of aiming anger at the person, aim it at the institution creating these mind sets - that raises better awareness of institutional bigotry.

Not that tolerant if a backlash occurs.

a strong, adverse reaction by some to someone that disagrees with something that is generally accepted in society isn't out of the ordinary.

People will disagree with him, but then that just shows everyone has the right to disagree...

It's just how you disagree is the issue.

It be naive to think everyone will agree.

If everyone has the right to disagree then this is a complete non-event. One player doesn't want to wear a badge and some others support him but apparently their opinions aren't deemed but acceptable.
