[Link] (BBC link) "A chant of "we want Delia out" echoed around the home of Norwich City as fans voiced their frustration with the club. The Canaries put in yet another dismal display at Carrow Road on Sunday as they were thrashed to a 4-0 loss by West Ham. The already relegated club seemed devoid of inspiration in front of an angry home crowd as costly errors proved their downfall, reported BBC Sport." (BBC) Long gone are the days when the crowd were chanting for Delia to "Get them out for the lads". Now it's just,.."Delia out" (sigh,..) C'mon Delia,....Let's be 'avin' you Attachment: delia lets be having you.jpg (13.75Kb)

I think Delia would sell if a decent owner came along. She has always said that she doesn't have the funds to kick on. I would say to their fans careful what you wish for. Check out the Charlton fan site they couldn't wait to get rid of the Belgium owner and hailed the incoming saviour. Some on there would now like the Belgium back as he at least spent money whilst Danish Dave has gone from hero to zero in one season which is quite an achievement of sorts.

It could have easily been us so many times. In fact, we've been worse recently enough. Probably will be us again one day. Hopefully, not too soon.

Delia is a responsible owner who just can't compete with the rest of the PL financially. They run the risk of getting Burnley type owners who will immediately saddle the club with debt. I feel sorry for their fans but until a white knight appears ....

Norwich kind of play to that yo yo club existence , better than most in the championship but not good enough to take hold in the PL, they come up, buy a couple of players, play the games take the money & go down- indeed if we hadn't had new money coming in from the USA we would probably be on a very similar trajectory - I would imagine the older Norwich fans (at least the realistic ones) are fine with it, its probably harder for the youngsters to take in these days of instant gratification, easy to change team allegiance etc -

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

I had hoped they'd survive as they're a proper community club and it's a lovely little city. Sadly they didn't learn anything from their last time in the PL and looked as lightweight as before and with Buendia sold actually looked worse in terms of the players.
