At 50 my idea of retirement would have been to spend all day in the pub with my mates. Luckily that never happened as I gave up the drink and then realised my mates weren't mates but drinking companions (I don't miss them). Anyway I retired caught the travel bug and love my life now. The only thing stopping me travel all the time is money but 3/4 times a year isn't bad. There is more to life than a dingy old pub. Lovely Badger, and just to be clear, the humour was intended . I very, very rarely frequent drinking establishments anymore without cause (birthday, pre-match etc.), I was thinking back to times I have though and the 'retired crowd' would oft be in there doing exactly as I mentioned! Sounds like you're living the dream atm. Long may it continue, enjoy and I hope to emulate you in the future!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |
