I have a colleague at work who has asked me … he has a mate who has terminal cancer and is a lifelong Palace fan … he wants to give him a signed shirt and is prepared to pay the club for this. Who does he contact at the club?

Not a very useful response mate and sorry to hear the backstory, however in a very different scenario, but similarly motivated move, I once contacted the club regarding the old man's 60th Birthday. We're not a family who struggle financially by a long way or what have you, and he is an old woman for some things, very sentimental, so any luxury goods were appreciated by him but I knew he'd like something more heartfelt/memorable. I therefore asked the club for a mention in the match day programme (stating his age, dedication to the club, me n my brother, our length holding season tickets etc). The club or rather staff were fantastic, got him a snippet in the programme but also sent us a signed birthday card and team photo for him. He was absolutely delighted of course so can only reference my own experience but highly recommend you don't go over the top, don't come across as though you are trying to pull on heart strings etc. just explain the situation clearly and hopefully they will get back to you the same way they did me. Apologies if any of that sounded patronising at all am again just referencing my experience. I can't remember nor have access to how I got in contact with them but remember it was pretty simple from the club website to get in contact with someone who will pass you on/direct you accordingly etc. Best of luck and thoughts for your colleague.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Is Sharon Lacey still at the club? Would she be the person to contact?
