City could miss out on the title, thanks to that refereeing disgrace. Hard to feel sorry for them though. I think the handball not given against Rodri was every bit as bad as Jota's pen against us. The bias in favour of the plastic teams definitely exists though.

We've been around since 1905, longer if you're a revisionist historian. Either way, that's over a century. Here is a numbered list of major honours we've won in that time. 1. Cup or League win? Is that a serious question? (Not if you have any interest in seeing Palace win a major trophy, it's not.) Edited by sydtheeagle (15 Mar 2022 4.10pm)

I was there!

And I suppose there is a certain cachet in being able to boast of having won a trophy that neither of the Manchester clubs has ever been able to lay claim to. Imagine if we'd turned those near-misses in the Anglo-Italian Cup into silverware. Then we'd have a genuine track record of success! Edited by sydtheeagle (15 Mar 2022 4.25pm)

And when our name is on the Cup my life will be fulfilled. Reminds me of the old gag: Optimistic fan: "Our name is on the cup this year" Pessimistic fan: "Mate, Goddards the silversmiths name is on the cup, but they ain't gonna win it either" (With thanks to 'Scorcher and Score', 1973)
