Just had a look at remaining fixtures and possible points total of 44 which is last season's total Just goes to show what a great job Roy had done with dad's army as despite PV more entertaining brand of play compared to Roy we are not progressing up the prem.Hopefully it's a season of PV bedding in and will result in a springboard for success and an FA cup final would be a bonus

Yes, we had numerous fortunate wins last year, this year fortune has largely passed us by. If you add 6 points to our current total which is not unrealistic given the points we have thrown away with individual errors then we would probably be searching for just one more win to be safe. We now give all the teams a good game and it is only Chelsea that battered us early in the season where we looked poor.
