Roy has a front 3 better than any 3 he ever had at palace, his style and their fire power will keep them up easily, we gave him nothing to work with after his 1st season. Wasn't Roy the one who bought Sorloth?

Name a manager of any club who hasn't made a wrong choice. For example, who at Chelsea was responsible for getting rid of Salah and De Bruyne? As for Hodgson, we also bought in Guaita, Kouyate, Ayew, Cahill, Eze and Butland during his tenure (yes and Meyer, Jach and Clyne). As for Sorloth, as least what got back a bit more than we paid for him. So, I ask again, what is your point?

Crazy to start this kind of thread. PV has shown us a brighter Palace and we were a couple of minutes away from grabbing a point against Chelsea, and let's face it, not many on here were forecasting a win and most thought we'd lose. OK, we do lack bite up front, but the fault is the players not the manager. I watched the match through a stream on my tablet and there were so many fine performances. Trouble is there were also some guilty of overplaying. Chelsea are second in the PL and we had them on the ropes for long periods. Of course we need to improve our finishing, but please don't start getting on the manager's back. We're not a club funded by Saudi money so our manager, like the players has to come within budget. I'm annoyed we couldn't hold on for a draw today, but I see a manager and a team under development. I'm certain we'll stay up and that next season we'll see a more polished performance and results to match. Keep the faith glaziermart. Don't want to jump on PV's back but we did have 3 strikers on the bench on Saturday, so the manager must take some responsibility for the lack of bite upfront

We started with JA up front but not scored in 40+ games , left millions of £ worth of front 3 on the bench .. isn’t it time to revert to 442 , we’re not scoring and not creating chances .. Lukaku had more touches offside than we had shots

Lot's of pessimism out there, not surprisingly I suppose. However, this is a transition season with many new players. Under Roy I always felt our points totals were higher than out performances deserved whereas under PV I feel the opposite (due mostly to our inability to convert the chances we are creating and our being a bit partial to concede a late goal). This has got to be good news and at some point this will change, 13 games left and we need 13 points to be comfortably safe. There will be nerves, especially if we don't do the business tonight and at the weekend..but we'll be fine.
