Losing Conor will be tough but PV needs to play his best team to give us the best possible chance of winning each game. And at the moment I'd imagine Conor Gallaghers name is one of the first on his teamsheet. Eze has to compete hard in training to convince PV to pick him, thats how it works.
It will be interesting to see if Chelsea have any more problems now the uk gov are going for the Russian banks and oligarchs. Roman Abramovich had had his visa revoked even before this war kicked off. Perhaps he may be forced to sell Chelsea? Who knows

Or perhaps Chelsea will play him as he is their player and recruitment of new players becomes an issue.

Chelsea have a lot of fringe players out on loan / at the academy. CG is oven ready for the PL so after the first team squad I would imagine he would be one of the ones they would want to keep, others are more of an unknown quantity.

Presumably that lad on loan at Southampton (Broja ?) would fall into the same category.

He had his Visa Partially evoked so he could spend some time in the UK, might be different now though

Not sure you can partially revoke a visa, I have never heard of this. He has, however, obtained Israeli and Portuguese citizenship, both of which do not require a visa to enter as a visitor.
However as he held a T1 visa as a Russian, I doubt he would be granted entry as a visitor

Would love to see Carvalho at Palace. Good replacement for CG. I think he is available on a free from Fulham.

Abramovich has relinquished control of Chelsea & handed the club over to Chelsea Charitable Trust. The source is various media

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Connor was a whisker away from breaking through today. The speed he went into that challenge was awesome.

He hasn’t handed the club over. He’s handed the running of the club over. It’s all about as grey as what and why in Ukraine. Let the lawyers unravel it.

In addition, Bloomberg is reporting the circling of American venture capital vultures over East London with one enquiry having already been fielded by Abramovich. (£1.9 billion valuation (KPMG))
