I haven't read the report I assume that it is process that Khan used to sack her that is being criticised not the reason. If the report says that CD was good at her job I suggest Khan consign it to file 13 (waste paper basket). Her qualifications for being head of the Met appear to have been that she is a woman and a lesbian apart from that one of the most incompetent Head of the Met's we have had in years and that is saying something.

I suspect that the general public do not have confidence in the Met, and indeed they are in special measures. Mainly due to her efforts. Khan would have been failing in his duty to Londoners if he had not intervened. Never mind Cressida, if you are uncomfortable with an officer you can always 'wave down a bus'.
