No matter if you think he’s approaching the end of his palace career, the bloke’s made over 260 appearances for us, has always been a model professional and never given anything but his best for the team. Plus, who can forget that goal line clearance in the play off final.

It’s criminal he doesn’t have his own song widely sung at Palace yet. So, in honour of his specialist skills at goal line clearances, I propose an original (because apparently that’s very important) football chant to the tune of the chorus of Hold The Line by Toto - [Link] if you’re not familiar with this epic song.

Please offer alternative lyrics if you can improve them, but I reckon this is a good start, thought the reference to his faith may be a little on the nose …
