I know it's only the Sun on the Beeb's Gossip column, but what do people think about our possibly buying Aribo (and the suggested price of £10m)? I don't know anything about the player, so I'll leave the answers to those who might do. [Link]

Presumably planning for a post-Gallagher world. What I’ve seen of him suggests he’s a pretty good playmaker but defensively isn’t particularly good. Maybe that could be worked on but Eze isn’t the best either so might leave midfield a bit short. [Link]

What I’ve seen of him suggests he’s a pretty good playmaker but defensively isn’t particularly good. Maybe that could be worked on but Eze isn’t the best either so might leave midfield a bit short.

We got linked early with Olise and Eze so maybe there's some truth in it if Dougie was up there. Don't know much about the player other than he's done quite well up at Rangers.

We have been linked with him a lot in the past, at least the last three transfer windows. I don't see him as a replacement for Gallagher, he is more of a Eze/Olise type player. Now we have them I don't see a place for Aribo in the sde.

I don't see him as a replacement for Gallagher, he is more of a Eze/Olise type player. Now we have them I don't see a place for Aribo in the sde.

He's strong, can pick a pass and has a good first touch.

I liked the look of him when he was at Charlton, and thought he was worth a cut price deal then. He was disappointing in the Play Off final v. Sunderland, which I watched mainly to see how he played.

I was surprised he made the move he did, to Rangers, but assume nobody in the Prem or Championship were willing to take a chance on him.

At £10m we should be interested.
