Will confess I only scan results of the U23s. Just seen click bait article that Rangers are eying up a move for one of our CBs - Dan Quick - someone who’s on the global radar apparently. Is he a prospect? Contract situation? I’d have guessed as he’s just been promoted from the U18s he’s tied down for a while. Had thought O’Brien was the coming man.

Is this just his agent manoeuvring? We've had quite a few youngens of late who have supposedly been wanted by Europe's elite who then either sign a deal or who are released. Have any actually gone to a big club?

Have any actually gone to a big club? Cynical but quite possibly on the money! That said apart from Zion Atta can’t recall any other “substantive” rumours for the youth. In a sense it’s a positive if it does start to happen.

Going off topic slightly, but does anyone remember Mandela Egbo? He's currently unemployed at 24 y.o, having left NY Red Bull Bulls last summer. It's hard to make it at home, and it's hard to make it abroad too.
