Ronnie Spector died at 78. Her voice was great for Phil Spector’s productions. Be My Baby and Baby I Love You still sound wonderful considering they’re nearly 60 years old.

Ronnie sounded great on those classic songs.

Great music from Phil Spector. It seems that we are still 'allowed' to listen to his stuff even though he was a lunatic and a convicted murderer.

Yep, the Ronettes were one of my favourite groups in their day. And Teddy, these two records still sound good on my jukebox despite their age even though they're almost transparent having been played so often.

Married to Phil but he was awful to her. He kept her locked in a closet a lot of the time and threatened to kill her if she left him. Dreadful bloke, but produced great sound. They divorced after only 4 years.

RIP

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.
