I'm not sure that it is a good thing that a company as powerful as Twitter is owned and subject to the whims of one person even if I agree with their politics. My uncle was reading a book about Musk, around 4 years ago (don't know the book title). My Uncle said Musk was a very clever man, as he got loads of financial backing for his ideas, yet wasn't worth an awful lot himself (to begin with). A lot of his ideas have bourne fruit, which has not only created wealth for himself, but also added significantly to those wanting to invest. Lots of figures bandied around about 'wealth', but they are accountancy figures. Lots will be tied-up in investments, loans and other areas. Although I bet Musk has more than loose change in his pockets, and he doesn't shop at Aldi I disengage, I turn the page.

Elon can behave as he wishes as he's megarich, but his plan to link contributions to identity for normal people is more likely to result in equally normal behaviour.
