Now that John Textor owns 90% of the Brazilian Giants from Rio. Which players can we expect to come over and play for us. Former United RB Rafa perhaps. Or Everton Vinicius a 20 year old CB or some up and coming young player

Could he not have bought Flamengo or Boca? Back to earth, amusing to think of Botafogo as a feeder club for palace.

This guy must be loaded but he's not that centred onto us is he. I wonder where we could be if that was the case.....I certainly think we were a more sensible choice for massive investment than Newcastle were anyway.

Moving players from Brazil to a team where they have a reasonable chance of playing in the Prem is surely an excellent way of maximising potential transfer fees. Sound business thinking to my mind.

Charlton's Belgium owner used to play a shell game with managers, players and possibly even money between the various clubs that he owned with Charlton doing the funding. I hope Parish keeps a close eye on Textor we don't want to find that the next Pele is actually just an excuse to fund his Brazilian club.

Moving any player from Brazil to the Premier is no longer an easy proposition. Now we are out of Europe, the dual nationality ruse with Portugal has been stopped. They now have to have a number of games for the National team, dont know how many.
