Seeing this one everywhere right now. On the face of it he looks a really good fit - next season! Right now we're really well served in central midfield but Gallagher is going to leave one ginormous gap. Fear he may be out of our price bracket ultimately. Can see one of the big boys swooping in to nab him and there's also the shadow of Newcastle who have absolutely nothing there right now.

Just one of a few outlets reporting he wants to stay at Napoli . . .
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

He is a class player: strong, quick, good eye for a pass and can beat his man with ease. I imagine Napoli will take up their option to buy though, unless money is tight.

As for the tight purse strings, I wonder if we are not in better shape given the likelihood of finishing higher up the table and threatening a more successful profile and potentially sponsors.

I'd prefer Gallagher on a permanent but he'd do.

Remember we have Eze who PV apparently sees as a central forward minded player so what we would miss most from Gallagher is his energy and engine. I've read that Anguissa has this hence my comment.

One thing is for sure Gallagher takes some replacing.....well while he has these energy levels anyway. We have very attacking players coming up but he's a busy bee player who keeps that pressure on. Freedman has a very good eye and network though....been quite impressed....he might not have done well at Bolton etc but he's a very good judge of potential and ability.
