Explain to me why the public have to shell out in the region of £2 million to keep this piece of human waste housed and fed for the next 35 years.

I don't agree with the " we don't do revenge " argument. I don't see this as about revenge. If anyone believes there is a reason to attempt rehabilitation in this case then they are delusional IMHO.

This is not a case where there is any doubt about the identity of the murderer.

Personally, I'd be OK with having a death penalty for proof of guilt is undeniable, but I also appreciate the counter argument about NOT having the death penalty.

What I never understand is why, in cases like this, the sentence comes with a recommendation of at least 35 years before release. Why should murderers ever be released. I just don't get why life doesn't mean life.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

There are many cases where guilt and identity are certain and these should IMHO be potentially capital . Westminster doesn't want a referendum in case is says yes.
