Baldwin may face charges of Corporate manslaughter perhaps? Although he is the boss I doubt he hired the armourer that would have been someone further down the food chain and they have questions to answer. It seems this lady does not have a good track record and may have got the job due to her father (nepotism is alive and well in Hollywood). I am parasphrasing the guy now, but he basically said that if a scene in a film needed a Bengal tiger you would have a properly trained animal trainer not a 22 year old Intern who had house sitted a Yorkshire Terrier for his mother. I read on Newsweek last night (and I'm not a supporter of them in any way) is that because of his left leaning politics he actually refused the help of a prop master because he was a member of the NRA who actually know a little about gun safety.
I am parasphrasing the guy now, but he basically said that if a scene in a film needed a Bengal tiger you would have a properly trained animal trainer not a 22 year old Intern who had house sitted a Yorkshire Terrier for his mother.
The same should apply for firearms.

One person killed, another badly injured. I am beginning to wonder if gun 'antics' are an almost established part of set-life when filming with guns in certain locations. I am willing to bet this isn't the first, or even second or third, instance where live ammunition has been put in a prop gun. It's just that nobody got hurt or killed, so it wasn't reported.
