I’ll be tearing myself to sone tasty chicken on sat in the white horse. Then a few beers after. At least £30 Palace could of been getting. Multiply that by 2000 fans and that’s ove £1 million per year. Hardly worth worrying y about I suppose. So cardboard and swill set to stay.

I must admit I am a complete plonker when it comes to this stuff, I love being inside the ground, ( I hate queueing outside to get in) I get there early, have a couple before the game & grab whatever is available on the food side, sometimes its decent mostly its poor & its always expensive but I kind of convince myself its all part of the experience - but honestly if Steve Parish occasionally needs a win with the supporters & this is one thing that if he spent a couple hours looking at ( or got one of his minions to do so) its a no brainer to improve it & it would cost him / the club next to nothing to do so.

It really is baffling how they can't sort this out. I don't even bother trying to get anything before, during or after the game in the Arthur. Even if what you want is available, the staff don't look like they've had a minutes training and almost look annoyed you're asking for something.

Strange thing is that years ago (20 odd years mind) you use to be able to get a decent pie (Pukka I think?) and a cup to tea, pretty much always in stock and volcanically hot. Can't see what possible reason there is to go backwards on the food to save a few quid? Surely they'd make more if they improved the quality or service by even a little bit.

Perhaps Parish could do "Undercover Boss" or something with a fake wig and beard and see what it's like for us mere supporters around the ground!

They keep banging on about how important supporters are, why not show it with some decent catering and not ripping us off!

I'll do my eating either with food from the Kebab place or fish and ships shop on Whitehorse lane but the beer will probably be consumed in the Glaziers bar both pre and post match.

For me it's all about speed, with contactess payment it should all be really efficient. At half time they should have pints already poured, bottled beer already poured and ready to go.

But sadly we are looking at a 10 to 15 minute period once a fortnight which I don't think the will and want is there to achieve what is needed
