While she may have been incompetent or flawed its difficult to believe she would obstruct a police corruption inquiry. There would have to be solid evidence for a referral to be made.

Well she's the establishment's pick for Met policing that's for sure. Both political hierarches have stuck with her through thick and thin. Not my cup of tea but whether we like it or not she rules the roost.

Well, yes, ok, but the police aren’t usually content to take someone’s word for whether they did or didn’t do something. Unless they’ve abandoned evidence in favour of some kind of honour based system.

From the right wing Guardian "The Metropolitan police commissioner, Cressida Dick, could face a new disciplinary investigation after the official inquiry into Daniel Morgan’s murder and corruption in the force found she had hampered its efforts to get to the truth, the Guardian has learned."

There was an excellent mini-series on C4 on Daniel Morgan's murder. It would be great if resolved, but the fundamental problem is that there is simply no forensic evidence. I saw even PM May became involved and it is an absolute stain on the Met. But when it comes down to who, why and proof there really appears to be a zero chance. Still we live in hope.

Wife worked for them for 3 years when known as PCC. I would say all the caseworkers were definitely independent but, of course, some Authority members may not have been quite so, well those who liked a funny handshake
