WHY DID LAYVIN KURZAWA TURN DOWN CRYSTAL PALACE? The swashbuckling left-back had no interest in giving up on Champions League football or the prospect of swapping Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi in favour of sharing a dressing room with Jordan Ayew.
I'm so Palace I don't even know it |

Will be 4th LB choice until January. Has he made the right choice? In truth, this is a view of why he didn't come. Another option (I'm also guessing) is that we told him - 29 years old tomorrow - that he would only have a short contract as he would only be occupying the space till Mitchell/Hannam come of age.

We are still in the "potential to get relegated group" and are probably the 5th biggest club in London. One of the milestones for the club moving to the next level will be the ability to attract better quality players without having to pay a premium or adding relegation clause at the players insistence. Given a straight choice between Leceister and Palace they win even though they are a similar size club. Our first target is to make ourselves more attractive than Wet Spam. It is quite possible that PV can make this happen.
