Brilliant. Glad you posted that monkey, one of my favourite Tommy Cooper clips.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

I had a wasps nest in the roof, a passing over eager pest control bloke spotted it, and told me about it, i said i know, but thanks. He said he will get rid of it for a price, i said its ok, its been there all summer and its september now, they will die off soon.He said its your public duty to get rid of it now, they might go on and sting a passer by! I said- hopefully they sting the person who didn"t call you out last year when they had them in there loft!

Used to rent an old cottage. One summer’s day starting getting flying buzzing things in my living room. Called the local “guaranteed 24 hour response line”

Me “I’ve got wasps coming in - can you come round?”

Them “they won’t be wasps, it will be bees”

Me “I’ve got bees coming in, can you come round”

Them “we can fit you in on the 22nd - (10 days away)

Me “you say 24 hour emergency response”

Them we call you back within 24 hours”

That house is more mastic than any other material now.

Insulation thankfully. And family photo albums, Christmas decorations... Anyone got any antiques. Isn't that where they are usually miraculously found? . I expect one or two have some memorabilia up there..

Nothing. Always avoided putting anything in loft !

Can't say I blame you. Whenever I have to go up ours I feel like I'm taking my life into my own hands. Parkour territory.
