at the time when we signed brice dyer i specifically remember the signing being a british record for a teenager.

i remember being quite excited by the signing only to realise he was pretty crap with a wonky haircut.

I remember Dyer saying he'd found god, I think most of us though good now can you find the back of the net.

He was lightning quick but would always miskick or miss as he didn't seem able to kick a ball properly. He couldn't have had a good conversion rate. I can't remember any goals, perhaps one against Oxford or someone similar. Someone can look up the stats and tell us.

I used to love Bruce Dyer. Fantastic pace, he’d hare off down the wing, the chant would start up, then he’d hoik his attempted cross high into the stand. Always made me laugh.

Why is this topic in Transfer Talk? Shouldn't it be in Nostalgia or somewhere? When I saw the title I though we were about to bring one of them back. I know we're light in attack, but even so.

Hated Bruce Dyer - he would be up there with Akinbiyi for me.

How he was on the same pitch as Lombardo is a joke!

I remember the signing. He was hailed as the next best thing. Watford fans revered him like a child god.
When he joined us my only lasting memory is that people used to sing his name as Bruce Dwyer, rather than Bruce Dyer.

The problem with Dyer was that he seemed to think the corner flag was the goal. He used to do fantastic dribbling runs, head down and ended up at the corner flag and nowhere to go.

What I remember about Dyer is that he always seemed to be getting caught offside. Anyway, as I've already asked, why is this in Transfer Talk?

The move was engineered to create a big signing on fee for Kenny, sadly. He had urgent need of the money shall we say.
