the Mirror article on this is not loading, but Roma aren't prepared to stump up £20 mil or he'd be off to play for Jose. He might find us a step down but he could be our Cabaye replacement, and imho it would be £20 mil well spent.

Not the best tackler,fouls a lot when tackling resulting in free kicks and has a habit of making tackles he had no need to make. Lacks speed and mobility, certainly not the quickest mover or the sharpest off the mark and can get easily turned. A NO from me.

Lacks speed and mobility, certainly not the quickest mover or the sharpest off the mark and can get easily turned.

It's a non runner this one anyway sorry - the Mirror article's headline conflated Xhaka with the Reiss Nelson loan - hXhaka's staying at Arsenal apparently - Mourinho has been quoted as saying he is absolutely pivotal to arsenal's performances. But we're interested in Thomas Delaney apparently - who would fit the same role, and I still think even with Olise and Gallagher added we could do with a bit more presence in midfield - so I'll do a Delaney thread instead (unless one is already done).
