Just seen Harry Wilson being linked with a £10m move to Fulham. I thought he did well at Bournemouth even though they were relegated the season he spent there. His free kick ability is really good and i think he'd be a good addition now that Andros Townsend has moved on. £10m for a young Welsh international wouldn't be a bad gamble in my opinion. Also, David Brooks is still at Bournemouth. This guy can play!!! Not sure what he would be worth at the moment but again, he's a young international player that i feel would be useful. Thoughts?

I would be surprised if the club haven't already considered Wilson but have decided on other irons in the fire. But at £10m, not a bad option.

As for Brooks, Bournemouth were wanting something like £40m + for him not too long ago. He's probably out of our price range.

I don’t think Wilson has developed as well as he looked like he might a couple of years ago. I think he needs to re discover himself with a permanent move somewhere that he can get regular game time and I don’t see him getting that with us.

Brooks looked really good in the Premier League but I think Bournemouth priced him out of a move last year and with a few injury problems, he’s not reached the levels he was at previously.

Of the two, Brooks for me but at a realistic price

Out of the two it's Brooks for me although he is starting to pick up injuries after that bad one he had.

But I'd rather go for his B'mouth team mate, Danjuma. He's looked really good when I've seen him play on the left of front three.
I think they turned down a big fee from overseas team though.

Agreed - he looks very useful.

Danjuma is right-footed but certainly packs a punch with his left foot.
Evidently he has been working on taking opponents on going on to his left on to his left foot rather than simply cutting inside on to his right foot.
He can create something out of nothing and doesn't lack confidence.

Wilson ,really hasn’t progressed, and Championship could be his level. Brooks, appears to be now injury cursed . He was a worthwhile expensive purchase for Bournemouth, so it’s understandable they would want to get that at least for him.. there is the problem. He hasn’t been able to move beyond the effects of his injuries, and far to risky to invest a big fee in.
The David Brooks, of two years back would be very tempting at around 20mill anything above we wouldn’t deal. To many doubts now.

I believe the fee was £10 Mill rising to £11.5 Mill.

Thanks for that Willo, that’s a figure that could be matched. And if the doubts over his future fitness disappeared would make him a snip. That part of things needs more time, and of course if he gets back on course, up goes the price.

Fulham have signed Wilson, undisclosed but fee to be about 12m. Makes Olise look like a steal

Why would anyone chose to be a Seagull? The Eagle is a far superior creature.

The Seagull lives under it's damp pier meekly looking out, blinded by the sheer quality of the Eagle's palace.

I believe that initially it's only a loan but the deal does have an element of buying to it.

My understanding is that Wilson has signed a contract which expires in 2026.
I have not heard about any loan deal.
