3x times total pension is correct. Luckily (?) I was able to work some Christmas, Boxing Day New Years Day plus other bank holidays to increase my final salary, not by much but it helped

Reading the article it appears he can take if early without any penalty, which would not be the case with 99.9% of public sector employees. Bercow was an MP for a bit under 20 years and under the terms of his pension scheme he will have had the pension reduced for taking it early. But we'll if the usual suspects want to get all frothy about someone taking their pension so be it. I have a pension and plan to take it as soon as I can guess I must be a hypocrite to. And I have met Bercow a few times. He is actually far better company than most MP's

Bercow was an MP for a bit under 20 years and under the terms of his pension scheme he will have had the pension reduced for taking it early.
But we'll if the usual suspects want to get all frothy about someone taking their pension so be it.

I have a pension and plan to take it as soon as I can guess I must be a hypocrite to.

And I have met Bercow a few times. He is actually far better company than most MP's
