What you could do, simplicity itself, is play the extra time with widened goal-posts.

Double the width.

If that doesn't do it, nothing will.

Haha. At least we'd get something out of it even if we lost.

Speak for yourself! Unless we keep male goalies and they play bottomless....... something for everyone there!

Sorry Becky, admittedly I was being a bit selfish there haha. I'm not sure about bottomless goalies though. VAR might struggle to work out which ball has crossed the line!

Surely the fair way would be to count any yellow and red cards during the match, if its level after that then a countback of all the yellow and reds during the tournament.

Would stop the cynical play at times.

Only negative would be if a team is well ahead of the card count then the opposing team could simply play for a draw and make for a dull final.

Oh I don't know lol...

This card count WAS in the rules for this tournement in the group stage if 3rd placed teams finished level with everything

OR, will it/they be counted as part of the goal scoring part of the body?

Now we're getting somewhere, tho, not sure bout baking. The French, Germans, Italiens & Spanish are imho far superior to us Brits.

If you go 1-0 up in 2 mins push on for a 2nd and 3rd instead of sitting back for half a game and conceding an equaliser so enabling another country's capital city to celebrate. That might be an alternative to penalties.

The obvious one is play on from 90 until someone scores. But why do the obvious?
There are some good suggestions on this thread but I still favour the nudity one. I thought Cucking might pop up with Greco-Roman wrestling between managers as a suggestion.
