One sees certain gentlemen (Generally quite ripe in years) wearing Jesus sandals and socks and as far as I am concerned this is not a good look. Quite recently I visited a friend who was wearing 'Crocs' and I am not enamoured by them one iota.

My brother who occasionally posts on here lives on a boat. I got up one morning early and within minutes my shoes were sopping wet to his amusement. "And that's why me and the missus wear crocs". They have their purposes.

They have their purposes. If one is wearing those Crocs when the heavens open, one's feet will get drenched due to the holes whereas this will not be the case with more conventional footwear.

Rest assured I would never be seen with 'Crocs'. I saw a string vest worn in a 'Rab C Nessbit' style once in portugal.
