With respect I stated I "Never heard", accordingly this also applies to the period when we had a manager in situ.

Gilmour due to his lack of appearances was very much a forgotten player but came to prominence with his performance for Scotland against England.
It had been opined last year that his diminutive stature may work against him in the long run,but time will tell.

This lad will play for Scotland for years to come and I think he will go on to bigger things in England. Let’s face it you don’t have to be a bad player to be ignored by Chelski! If he plays as well as I think he will for Norwich we could be kicking ourselves when they secure PL status unless our new manager finds someone better for our midfield.

It didn’t work against him when Scotland played England Willo. This lad will play for Scotland for years to come and I think he will go on to bigger things in England. Let’s face it you don’t have to be a bad player to be ignored by Chelski!
