Does anybody out there give a monkey's who wins this one?
Both teams have bought success.
Should it finish level, how about extra time followed by penalties followed by a declaration of how much money each owner has? Obviously, the winner is the one with the most money.
I'd rather watch our U.23s.
Small town thinking, no doubt.

Yep, I'm sure Palace being in the position they are would turn down millions if not billion's of investment.
The fans have little say in most things in any case.
Was hoping for a Citeh' win for no other reason than having done the NYC MCFC merch for years most if not all are locally born in Manchester & have watched City play lower down the ladder at Rochdale, Oxford Utd & Swindon Town.
Was hoping they'd win for them if nothing else.

Tuchel. That was the difference tonight. City are much better on paper. He had them fired up, set up correctly and they won. The ref was excellent and Chelsea ( spit ) deserved their win.(spit)

In dog beers I’ve only had one.

i thought Rudiger deserved a Red Card for his crucifixion of the best player on the pitch. A yellow card made the crime worthwhile....got rid of De Bruyne.... won the match.

Kayla did Anfield & Old Trafford

Was i the only one,...on the final whistle, was expecting the camera to pan to John Terry in full Chelsea kit running onto the pitch to celebrate ?

I disengage, I turn the page.

I was surprised he didn’t get one as otherwise, the ref got everything right.

I didn't watch it as I had no interest in what was basically another Premier League game, but what I haven't been able to find is any coverage of the Chelsea fans protesting outside their ground again before, during or after the game, against their owners, like they were just a few weeks ago. Just can't find that footage.

Surely they haven't changed their minds after winning something, have they?

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

I saw it as just a cynical block which warranted the yellow and nothing more. You see those types of tactical fouls all the time just a shame that DeBruyne picked up an unfortunate knock from it.

Despite wishing neither teams to win it. I was quite pleased that the team that did, was the most organised and fired up and not just the one with most possession and passes. Obviously the team that Tuchel has at his disposal has immense quality but it shows if you get those first bits rights then you just need to keep adding quality to be able to achieve against the great 'footballing' sides. In a way I feel that gives us smaller teams a bit of hope... now we just need that 1bn transfer budget
