That's exactly it Monkey.....the demise of the team of the 80's before we even reached the 80's.....but 79 was a great year to be a Palace supporter....Good Times

That night against Burnley and then beating and outclassing the then great Ipswich side 4-1 to go top of the 1st division are stand out memories

Will have a look -- it's the only game my mum ever went to! You can see her red coat when there's a corner 'in front of the HF' as we always stood down the bottom of the Holmesdale in that corner.

Unfortunately the 3-0 drubbing by Liverpool @ anfield is also being shown on itv 4 Saturday 10-4-21 ! 🙈 . Maybe I'm old skool but I still prefer the white kit with sash as first kit .
