In truth, I didn't actually say I was offended by blanket coverage of race issues but more irritated. It was never like this in the past.

As I said, offence is subjective, but I can tell you right now that I wouldn't give some bellend the satisfaction of knowing that he had had got under my skin with some abusive text or remark.
I don't accept that it would be different if it was race related abuse. Emotions are emotions and backbone is backbone.

All this victim stuff just empowers the abusers. The first rule of bullying.

Granted you didn't say you were offended but you go on about backbone and ignoring and not giving bellends the time of day, so why waste so much emotional energy to debating this very subject on these boards surely you should ignore it and not give it the time of day?
