Just came across this interview by Andy. Seems was a couple of years ago.

Shame the interviewer only wanted to speak Spurs. You can see who Grays team is from the first question though - Palace since he was 10

Bloody great player, I remember Ian Wright saying that Gray could do anything with a ball. Also formed the best central midfield partnership the club have ever had alongside Geoff Thomas.

Loved him. Seems a top lad too

Funny one Gray, everyone who ever say him would agree he was brilliant for us. He would walk into today’s team, and yet he’s often overlooked when discussing that great team. Guess there were a lot of great players though

We had some great midfielders around that era so he may unfairly be overlooked.

Just seen this post.
I thought he was class. Great shot.He was big mates with Ian wright
If you see videos of him he tells of how he loved the club. And yet we booed him off the pitch in his last game, because he missed a penalty.
Odd thing, I would have been at the game but I cant remember him missing the penalty or getting booed off - probably pissed.

Following Palace since 25 Feb 1978
