Looking forward to watching this, hopefully it will go well. I believe Sky News are covering it as well.

If you can find it NASA TV is by far the best coverage, if you can find it.

Can't wait for this.
As someone who has cast a light bucket in the direction of Mars for years now these Mars missions always get me excited.

For the first time ever we'll be able to hear what Mars actually sounds like.
Its testing the environment to see what fabrics are best suited for space suits.
It has a helicopter that will be able to photograph the terrain like never before.
It will collect soil samples and deliver them to a static site which a future mission will collect and fly back to earth.

There's so much more too.

The mountains are calling & I must go.

Yep just what i thought!

That was great, could really feel the tension in mission control as it was coming down to land

Waste of money.

Mission is '' in search of ancient life '' - should have gone to Selhurst Park.

Really pleased it landed without issue. I get the 'waste of money' outlook but feel that there's likely money into the trillions either wasted or snatched away from the man on the street without us seeing exploration of other planets as our go-to for savings.

At such a miserable time something like this is amazing for giving kids a sense of perspective and ideas of what people can achieve when they work together.
