See the man stabbed at Beckenham junction on april 2 died last night Badger, its on your manor now so vote wisely-the other guy stabbed was taken to hospital but survived- Beckenham used to be such a lovely area, still is actually, I had a stroll in Bpp a while back, never felt threatened, but the station id obviously a bit dodge! As I posted before there is a hot spot around the junction narrow pavements and lots of late night bars and clubs. I don't know the details of this stabbing but this is the 3/4 death in the last twenty years not counting the numerous other attacks. Beckenham is only dodgy in that small area on a Friday Saturday Night. I blame the police because the locals have complained for years about too many friction points and the police have not supported closing down some of the trouble spots. Yes, absolutely this plus no understanding or empathy with the difference between right and wrong, it’s more like a “don’t care attitude”. I don’t believe communities can police communities, harsher penalties are what is required and giving the police the ability to do what they are supposed to ie protect the public. And the government will take you up on that offer with relish. The police will be fully armed with semi automatic weapons in no time. Problem (criminal breakdown of society due to government policy)

I get your analysis and thought similar for years but this is now a far more complex and nuanced position than before. To be fair to the Met, the amount of gun-related crime is down and several big operations appear to have succeeded in getting weapons off the street, or at least hindered the ability for criminals to get their hands on them, but there is something far more sinister going on from what I can see.

If anyone was in doubt over how the government (security) and media collude on how sick events like this are presented to the public showing how they prefer you to view them this attack should leave you in little doubt.....if you're taking note that is. They devised this model over years and expect it from here on.....basically every attack that has certain....inconvenient truths....will be presented like this. It's those pesky zombie knives. They are to blame. If only we could deport all of them.

You speak the actual truth. We could keep the few useful knives and no one would miss the rest.

I saw the video of this attack where this f*** knives the lad. The lad went to the floor too easily, didn't grab the knive arm, just tries to ineffectively kick out. But it's hardly his fault that this f*** up is murdering him. The thing that really gets you is seeing the men standing close watching the attack. This lad and the rest of them would still be alive if one or two of them had balls and had charged him.....It seems a girl was the only one who did and what good is some teenage girl. Boils your blood. Edited by Stirlingsays (25 Jan 2024 5.29pm)
