I was quite shocked to hear the news of her passing yesterday. She may not have been the most well-known or popular of all the Bond girls over the years, but she was always my personal favourite and it was very sad to hear she had died so unexpectedly after collapsing at home.

You can imagine then how pleased I was to learn later that evening that she was actually still alive. Like so many Bond villains, I probably should have known better than to just assume she hadn't survived! It seems she is in a critical condition though, so it's not all good news, but thankfully there is still room for hope that she might eventually be OK.

Oh no, how terribly sad. The glimmer of hope has gone. I was really hoping she would pull through.

She was a very private person in later years, but still a much loved lady with many fans who will always remember her from her appearances in Charlie's Angels on TV and the 1985 Bond film, A View to a Kill, among other roles. Thoughts are with her loved ones at this deeply distressing time.
