Hi all, I read a lot in here but do not post a lot. Just wanted to share a link here to a fundraising page I have created. In August this year, myself and a group of family and friends will be walking a total of 26.5 miles to raise money for the Evelina London Children’s Hospital. This is a cause close to my heart as the hospital provided life saving treatment for my son Alfie following his birth in 2017. Further details can be found on the below link. I would be very grateful if you could please share the link or donate if at all possible. We did a similar event in 2018 in which we raised £6.5k. We have extended the distance this time around from 21.4 miles to 26.5 miles, and made the journey more meaningful. We are starting at the Princess Royal University Hospital where Alfie was born (Orpington) and walking to the Evelina which is based at St Thomas’ Hospital in London. This is where Alfie was transferred to the night he was born for expert care. We will then head back home to Orpington as Alfie did after 6 weeks when he was well enough to leave the hospital. I know times are tough so we are expecting this to be challenging, but are aiming to hit the £5k mark by August. If you are able to spare anything at all we would be very grateful so we can help the Evelina make a real difference to the lives of children across South London and beyond, and their families. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this. Jamie
