I have always said we should have closed our borders. My point here is why did these people choose to travel to India during a pandemic? In fact why did anyone? If we had stopped British Citizens coming home, you would have agreed? That would have included you as well Edited by Spiderman (22 May 2021 9.12pm)

The UK is in Europe - a region of the world that has had 52,677,025 cases of Covid, with a population density of 275 people per sqkm. Have the Tories covered themselves in glory with regards to Covid? Absolutely not - but there is no comparison to be made with the situation in Australia or New Zealand and the UK. It's absurd to do so and I have no idea why people insist on doing it other than to make an infantile gesture about how anti-Tory they are.

The other factors people have not taken into account is health UK has a big obesity problem you put that in with multi other factors it is asking for trouble. Another thing is people like to make out the likes of New Zealand have done it well they dragged people out of their homes and locked them up because they had a positive reading this sort of stuff was kept very quiet but happened. Regarding borders and allowing people in many countries allowed people with £ to still go about their business and if you do close up at some point the bubble needs to be opened so you will still get infected people it's a delay tactic only (we have seen this doesn't have massive death rates across the board as first thought and with a fairly good % of people having vaccine no need at this stage to close up)
