As someone who is just recovering from the dreaded COVID I can assure you it is not something to be taken lightly. 2.5 weeks ago I was faced with the situation where every organ in my body was shutting down and there seemed bigger all I could do about it. 2.5 weeks on I am still breathless walking to the en-suite. If you are the wrong side of 50, as I am , it can be a traumatic experience. Fortunately the rest of my family had much lighter symptoms and recovered very quickly. I have tickets for the Spurs game so I am hoping my recovery gains pace this week. 🤞And before you ask I am no longer contagious. That finished 2 weeks ago when the fever broke.
