i always reckoned Carlo Ancelotti to be one of the best managers in the World. And not surprised one bit that he is doing a miracle with the bunch of donkeys he inherited. If everton win today, they will be imperious at the top of the table. That will put manners on other arrogant teams in blue or toothy german clowns on merseyside. And remind other big-stadium clubs in red shirts that their mediocrity has been noted. more evidence that the manager is the most important player on a team. And when you get a good one, with an illustrious cv, you keep him. Everton could be in the Champions League next year. Edited by PalazioVecchio (25 Oct 2020 12.12pm)

You just gotta love that we got to play Soton first up when they were still asleep. I wouldn't have fancied playing them today! Everton did have key players missing and they had to play Godfrey out of position at right-back but Southampton capitalised and were good value for their win.Everton were a shadow of the team they have been this season. Southampton have won 3 and drawn 1 of their last 4 games and Che Adams has found his feet in the PL.

Watched the game, they were played off the par. How they are complaining about the red beggars belief
