After watching Icarus and Lance I've been thinking about the likelyhood of Premier League footballers using performance enhancing drugs like EPO. A Evertonian supporter I know says that a lot of their fans think Liverpool are on drugs because of the number of late goals they get and km's they cover. Manchester City's players always seem to cover much more ground than anyone else. Leicester with Vardy and Kante seemed to come from no where to win the league with massive amounts of energy. Is it that they just have better training regimes, or is there something more to it? James Milner has the highest number of km covers in a game. The 34 year old run over 13km vs Sheffield United. About 4km over the average. Shouldn't that raise red flags? No one questioned how Lance Armstrong could possibly get better times after he came back back from cancer to win Tour de France even though it was not physically possible.

No point going on about cyclists they was all on the juice Armstrong just came straight out about it plus natural ability still matters (give these drugs to any odd person and then compare them to someone who puts in different work rates you will see the drug is not a miracle worker you still need to work hard)

If you had to ask me which footballer was least likely to be using performance enhancing drugs, or drugs of any kind for that matter, James Milner would be near the top of that list.
