The one Lotto game I play is "£10K per month for 30 years". A bit daft because I don't have another 30 years left in me.

What I like is the notion that, as a pensioner any financial worries I may have, would be easily solved with that sum with plenty to spare.

Now I suppose £120K pa net equates to £150 pa gross.
£3k per week.

It puts it into perspective for me when we see just how much more than this PL footballers receive. In certain cases it's 120 times more.

I think most PL players expect to be wealthy enough to retire in their early thirties and remain wealthy ever after.

The Messi's and Ronaldo's OK they're special. Many other's are distinctly unmemorable. I won't name examples but the name Ozil just blurted out of me.

Anyway I'm rambling a bit but when someone we next says "He's only on £20k a week" I'll always think of that Lotto prize.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.
