Don't want to derail this Transfer section with more talks about players we aren't linked to at the moment, but what I read about this player is both fun and interesting at the same time.

His club Metz is doing so bad financially at he moment that they are willing to let him go to a Premier League club with just a 6 million that they stipulate to pay back if that cljb gets relegated

So..he wouldn't be exactly free for 1 year unless the club gets relegated (which hopefully won't happen). If he does well, the price could rise to between 14-18 million, as the mediansuggests they are looking for, probably 15 million is a proper figure.

25 years old, fast, scores a lot constantly for years. Not many matches in the national team so a permit could be an issue, but I think the fact that he has these results in a top league will allow that.

Imo, he's a better and more hard working center forward than Edouard, who costs 40 million and has not played in a top league. Edouard is a bit younger though.

From skysports: "If the club he's loaned to in the Premier League are relegated, Metz are willing to pay that loan fee back."

Don't worry Matteo you haven't derailed it much as we actually were linked with him before. Although I'm sure it was more agent talk than genuine interest. There's always bargains to be found, and who knows this could be one.

Interesting, we should get Cheikhou to put in a word.

This is the kind of thing you actually do very well, Matteo. Since it looks like signing Brewster has gone off the boil atm, who knows?

Well, I actually know some center forwards who are even more a goalscring machine than Diallo:

Diallo is good too. But from his goals in the last 2 seasons, 10 were penalties. Sure, he still has a lot of goals even without those. The price with the clause to.pay back is pretty intereesting too!!

This is exactly what the forum is for. You've had enough grief over the years for your suggestions, but you seem keen so crack on. In fact there are three people you can tell have posted something without checking the OP's name: Willo (random pointless entertaining "facts" ) , Cucking (signed yet) and You (random players that I have never heard of).

As for Diallo, what is his injury history like? Seems cheap given the plight of Metz unless fast money is their only option.

My big question about this is... why? It sounds to good to be true that if we got relegated, the club would get the money back and keep the player. There is something that doesn’t ring true about this whole scenario as it is something I have not heard of before

Actually...it would be good for them more than for a team that gets relegated. If that happens, there are bigger losses than that 6 million gain.

Meanwhole Metz gets Premier League exposure for one of their players and that automatically increases price. Even if they are asked for the money back they probably find another team where to sell him for at least 10-12 million.

They really need the money right now, so they probably don't care that they can lose 3-10 million from the total cost in 1 year. I mean...how bad can he be to decrease his value? He'll score once or twice in the Premier League, like Che Adans or Solanke, who are still valued at over 15 million.
