Ha! I had two pull up to me as i cut through currys car park, bloke wound down van window and asked"do you want to buy a 56 inch tv?", i said no thanks, what i really need is an empty box with a few lumps of wood and a brick in it! He said why do you want that? I smiled and he wound up window and drove off. Good one. Actually happened to my missus. She was so embarrassed she didn't tell me for a week. I reported it to the Guards - who knew who did it straightaway. Did that make a difference? We all know the answer. They wouldn't show me the photo though either, which would have been fun.

The currys car park in croydon is always busy with them on a saturday, i have been offered a big tv on 3 occasions there, always on a busy saturday-the pressure selling would be easy enough for someone to fall for though- as its clandestine obviously and has to be done in a rush- they will even load the heavy box straight in to your trunk- very kind peoples!

Can i ask, are you trying to turn this thread into another political one, with your constant berating of the UK Govt, who btw, were voted in by a huge majority. This is supposed to be about the raid on a 'pikey' camp, not your personnel crusade against the UK Govt.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

The raid was quite successful Loads of stolen dogs. Home made ammunition. A musket for goodness sake. Quad bikes So just the usual it seems.

The instruction for this raid must have come from the very top. Maybe the start of the kickback.

The justice system can be a strange old beast to understand and can be the most annoying of all our major public institutions in that it tends to not get unduly bothered about the most henious of criminals getting away with all sorts due to how the law can be twisted by defence counsels. All in the game, right?
Perhaps this is just the start of a major crack down? Good. Lets hope so and as you speculate, such a major operation in terms of not only manpower and time but also the downsides of all the usual BS about harassment must have been authorised from the very top. Edited by Matov (12 Sep 2020 6.52am)
