Has trained with the England senior squad, loads of caps and captaincies at youth level, nominated for the Golden Boy award in 2018... far more pedigree than a Watson or Cleverley in my view, and I expect him to have a better career. Ward-Prowse is probably a fair comparison - I don’t think many would be disappointed if we signed him.

Too many similar players already. What we need is a creative midfielder who can carry the attack and pass forward. Grealish would be ideal, though obviously we have no chance of getting him.
