You are overlooking the fact that Sorloth needed to earn the right to be played as a starter, something he didn't do. So I don't think I'm buying that.

You would think that a £9m purchase would be decent, but at the time we were also in for Jordan Hugill who signed for West Ham for a similar fee - and then failed to get into their team.

I'd like to see a revitalised and newly confident Sorloth be given another chance, but that's not looking likely

Spot on - Stupid to write him off on what little chance he had. We dropped the ball there!
